of these terrible things, the consequences have been huge as we sat by and watched these 40,000 people massacred. it was very clear that there is more al qaeda and jihadists in syria. some of the arms because we didn't supply it supplied from saudi arabia and qutar gone to saudi rab gnaw and jihadist. because we didn't establish a safe zone for them to organize and basically have a benghazi they have been disjointed and unable to coordinate together. this is a serious crisis and we have to be prepared to put american troops, not to fight, not to be on the ground to fight but perhaps american troops to secure these weapon storage areas that we know where they are.

escalator there started collapsing while shoppers were on it. 4 people fell including two toddlers. only one of them a man suffer add minor injury. that's lucky. police say it was caused by a mechanical failure. there is no word how many people were on the escalator at the time. first responders told to go sight seeing as sandy victims were suffering. fox news exclusively learned after rushing to the area around the storm first responders sat around for nearly 4 days. fema officials even told them to go check out the area. in a november 3rd e-mail an administrator back in washington went looking for answers. my people are being told to go sight seeing. i am asking them to reach out to contacts there that might be able to use their expertise. otherwise the personnel resources will be wasted. a fema official admitted to fox news while there were logistical challenges at first they are now fully engaged.

doug luzader is life in washington with more. >> good morning, guys. we are looking for an important report coming out today. the expectation is -- first of all talking about unemployment. we know they fell. but the expectation today is that the unemployment rate will probably be unchanged which means it is stuck at about 7.9 percent. as far as the markets are concerned they are not exactly tanking but there is a lot of uncertainty. businesses and investors are unsure about what their tax burdens will be like this year. the impact that the fiscal cliff could have on the economy will go up across the board. >> as we get closer and closer to the end of the year i think the uneasiness will continue and the worry we might not see a resolution is going to effect our market.
